What is the influence of friction on the force in the disc spring column?

A large number of influences such as surface roughness, edge rounding, lubricants etc. do not allow an exact determination of the friction.

Experience values with the different spring sizes result in the following loss of force due to friction between deflection and deflection forces (Hysteresis).

  • 2-fold parallel layering --> +-4...6%
