Our gas struts utilise the latest sealing technology for a longer service life.
Nitrider® N-Series
Nitrider® N-Series gas struts utilise the latest sealing technology* for a longer service life. The gas struts have a black coated body and durable rod with nitrided anti-corrosive surface specified at 144 hours resistance per ASTM-B117 salt spray test. They conform to most automotive requirements. A selection of end fittings is available for all sizes. Nitrider® N-Series gas struts are an ideal choice where exceptional quality, corrosion resistance and overall black appearance are important for your application.
Varilift® V-Series
Varilift® V-Series gas struts are the user adjustable version of the Nitrider® GAS strut. A bleed valve is fitted to enable the user to adjust the initial force of the strut. Each size is pressurized to the maximum vailable initial force for that range. Varilift® V-Series gas struts are ideal for prototyping new applications and those which cater for varying weights. They consist of a black coated body and durable rod with nitrided anti corrosive surface specified at 144 hours resistance per ASTM-B117 salt spray test. Varilift® V-Series gas struts conform to most automotive requirements.
Stainless Steel - S-Series
Stainless steel - S-Series gas struts are made from AISI 316 - (1.4401 - V4A) steel. They are suited to exposure to harsh enviromental conditions and will not rust or corrode and ideal for applications in the marine, food, and chemical industry. A selection of end fittings is available for all sizes.
Stainless Steel -Varilift® X-Series
Stainless steel - Varilift® X-Series gas struts are user adjustable version of the stainless steel gas strut. A bleed valve is fitted to enable the user to adjust the initial force of the strut. Each size is pressurised to the maximum available initial force for that range. Once installed, the adjustment may be made without removing the strut, saving considerable time and effort. Stainless steel - Varilift® X-Series gas struts are ideal for prototyping new applications and those which cater for varying weights.
